Tax Information for 2003
In March, 2004, the Trustee of the ATS Liquidating Trust mailed a Grantor Tax Letter with an explanatory cover letter to owners of record of beneficial interests in the ATS Liquidating Trust. Those interest holders who held their shares of Advanced Tissue Sciences in street name will not receive such a letter directly from the Trust. However the cover letter and a sample letter are posted on this page. The sample letter contains the necessary financial information for holders to calculate their allocable share of the Trust’s income and expenses for tax filing purposes.

In late January, 2004, the Trustee of the ATS Liquidating Trust mailed an IRS Form 1099-DIV with an explanatory letter to owners of record of beneficial interests in the ATS Liquidating Trust. It is possible that owners whose interests are held in Street Name may not receive this information in a timely manner. Therefore, we have posted a copy of the explanatory letter and a sample Form 1099-DIV.
